Chase Joy, The Positive Effects of Nostalgia
Mothering matters…
because today makes a difference tomorrow.
Moms, what do you need most?
Me time. To be loved and appreciated. A sanity check. Patience. Freedom from guilt. Adult conversation. To get organized. More of me. Balance. To know that I’m normal.
To know it’ll all work out. Peace. Hope.
How can mops help?
MOPS helps you to define the worth of mothering. The value is in knowing that you are the mother your child needs; you have been chosen for the job! MOPS will help you learn how to fulfill your needs for identity, growth, relationships, help, perspective, and hope.
Where do my children go while I’m in MOPS?
MOPS is committed to providing loving childcare! The MOPS Kids program offers a structured time for your children to hear stories, sing songs, enjoy a snack, make crafts and play. Children under age two will be cared for in the nursery while older children enjoy a classroom setting.
The dedicated MOPS Kids volunteers have all been screened and will offer your children a safe, nurturing environment.
*NO CHILDCARE FOR SPRING 2021.
How do I register and what does MOPS cost?
A $31.95 annual registration fee is collected to register the mom with MOPS International. Each mom will receive a theme packet containing some fun goodies, weekly Mom-E-Mail messages, and other great benefits.
A local group supply fee of $30 is collected each semester to help pay for MOPS Kids supplies, creative activities for the moms, door prizes and table decor. Requests for scholarships will be directed to Shana Woodbury at shana.woodbury@
cpcboise.org and kept confidential.
Where and when does mops meet?
MOPS meets at the church on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month, except where it conflicts with holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We are currently accepting registrations for Spring 2021. Registration is conditional upon vacancies in our MOPS Kids program.
Our group’s capacity will be dictated by open childcare spots in our MOPS Kids program. To ensure a safe, quality program, the nursery and classes will be capped at the following numbers: Nursery: 14, Twos: 8, Threes: 10, Fours: 10, Fives/K: 10.
*THERE WILL BE NO CHILDCARE FOR SPRING 2021.
To register, please contact Covenant's Family Ministry Director, Shana Woodbury at
shana.woodbury@cpcboise.org and please check us out on Facebook.
