The Heart
We believe that God is love . We desire to nurture Jesus love as the heart of our community, and we believe that God has called us to share Jesus' love with the world. Love is important to us. The heart is prominently displayed in our logo to emphasize this essential understanding of God.
The Water Drop
Every Sunday, a child reminds us at the beginning of worship that we are the baptized children of God. Because of this seal on our lives, we believe that there is nothing in life or death that can separate us from God's love.
The Outstretched Hands
The outstretched hands remind us of our Christian imperative to worship our Lord. Additionally, they serve as a reminder to reach out to our neighbor with open hands. When asked what is the greatest commandment, Jesus replied, "Love God, and Love neighbor". Matthew 22:37-40.
The Cross
If you look closely, the "t" at the end of Covenant is in the shape of the cross found in our sanctuary. For us here at Covenant, Jesus' empty cross stands central in everything we do and believe.
