Adult Ministries at Covenant Presbyterian Church

It is God’s word that sustains us. If you are not part of a small group or study please consider joining one. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” Romans 10:17- while the application is to salvation, it extends to believers as we are strengthened and encouraged in and through the Word of God. “…but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”

Alpha

Alpha is a series of sessions that explore the foundations of the Christian faith in an honest and non-judgemental environment. Sessions begin with dinner and connection followed by a talk and open discussion. Best of all, we provide Alpha at no cost.

Alpha meets at Covenant on Sundays in the fall, from 6:30pm - 8:00pm.

Women's Ministries

Women’s groups give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups, located in several locations throughout our community, are times of Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.

Women's Bible Study

Women’s Bible study is excited to invite you to explore what it means to be Women of the Covenant.

It is in our name of Covenant Presbyterian Church, but what does it mean? We will look at the lives of Abraham, Sarah, Hagar, Ishmael, Isaac, and Jacob, and understand more deeply God‘s commitment to us.

We meet on Tuesdays from 1-2:30.

For more information, contact Kay Grant at 208-571-6792.

Covenant Women’s Fellowship

Come join the women of the church for morning coffee, tea and fellowship. This group meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at 10:00 am.

21 Day Racial Justice Challenge

Dr. Michael Ross of St. Paul Baptist Church of Boise asked Covenant to consider undertaking the 21 day racial equity challenge. The challenge invites us to do something every day to raise awareness about the perniciousness of racism and encourage action in response to that awareness. The PC(USA) has joined several nonprofits, organizations and school systems in adapting the challenge for our use. Find the link to the challenge here
