Family Ministries at Covenant

Kids matter at Covenant Presbyterian Church!

At Covenant Presbyterian Church, we are here to support you, our most valued partners, and to serve you in various ways. Our greatest desire is for your children to know the bible, and to strengthen their daily walk with Jesus, to know that God loves them no matter what. Our dedicated teachers and safe and secure environments will welcome your child into learning about God’s special love. We teach and encourage our children to feel the Love of Christ for others, by focusing on kindness,

love, and respect of others.

We encourage children to participate in Mission activities, through service, prayer, and their weekly offerings, and pray that you will support these efforts. Linking arms together with you, our parent partners, we can raise the next generation to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.

Youth at Covenant!

The CPC Youth Ministries serve youth ages 6th grade thru Seniors in High School.   We seek to “Teach Christ” by building relationships and opening up God’s word. Students are encouraged to attend worship service with their families. Our leadership's goal is to integrate students into the life of the church, helping them realize their passions and talents.

Service is key to building disciples of Christ. Covenant offers a monthly service project, many service opportunities within our local community and ways for students to volunteer right here at Covenant.

Sundays in Childrens Ministry

Each Sunday your child will be engaged in lively and interesting activities designed to help them develop their understanding of and relationship to God.

  • Opportunity to Give: Our children’s special offerings go to support our current designated missions.
  • Opportunity to Pray: Our Kids' Church focuses on "Watching for God" throughout the week in order to thank God for our many blessings. The children also offer their own prayer requests each week and end prayer time with "The Lord's Prayer".
  • Opportunity to be in the Word and hear the Good News of Jesus Christ: All lessons are Biblically based and there is memory verse focus with each of our Kids' Church units.
  • Opportunity to be in Fellowship with other children and our adult volunteers through discussion, games,  making crafts, and a dynamic music time.

Kids' Church

During the 10 a.m. worship the entire congregation participates in an inter-generational time of Family Engagement. Following this special time, children preschool - 5th grade go to Kids' Church.

Covenant offers a special Family Comfort Room (located in our church nursery) for families to utilize any time during either of our worship services. This space provides the following:

*Sanitizing Area

*Nursing Room

*Changing Tables

*Rocking Chairs

*Toddler Restrooms

*Quiet Reading Area

*Soft Play Area

Safety and Security

At Covenant Presbyterian, we take your child’s safety seriously. All Children Ministry volunteers are required to have been regular attendees of CPC for a minimum of 6 months and have undergone background screenings.

Camp Sawtooth

We believe in the transformative power of camp and retreat ministry.  We actively encourage families to send their students to Christian summer camps.  Covenant has a special relationship with Camp Sawtooth, a Presbyterian-affiliated Camp and Retreat Center located in the beautiful Sawtooth National Forest a few miles north of Ketchum, ID.  Pastor Kevin regularly serves as a Dean during camp.
